From the start of Wi-Fi, it has always been somewhat complicated. Remembering if it is 802.11ac or 802.11/b/g/n etc. So now it is easier to identify this technology; here is how we determine it:
IEEE802.11ax = Wi-Fi 6 up to 10Gbps
IEEE802.11ac = Wi-Fi 5 up to 7Gbps
IEEE802.11b/g/n = Wi-Fi 4 up to 1Gbps
